Ptarmigan Lake is located in the valley surrounded by Ptarmigan Peak, Mount Redoubt, and Heather Ridge. It is 9km in from the Fish Creek parking lot, the Skoki area is a popular for backpacking but you won’t find many people here compared to classic Banff tourism hubs.
