Lake Annette is a very cold lake at the northern base of Mount Temple. I really wouldn’t recommend swimming there unless you are really hot. Maybe you could put your head in or something as an alternative. It is about 6km in on a relatively flat trail from the Paradise Valley parking lot and has a beautiful blue colour.
